How to Manage Automation Status in Chat

The automation status functionality in BlinkChat allows you to adjust whether automations and automated funnels are active or suspended. This flexibility is useful for tailoring communication to the specific needs of each contact or situation. Below is a detailed guide to managing the automation status of contacts:

1. Locate the Automation Status Button: To manage automation status, first locate the user card. The button that changes automation status is located just below the enrollment date at the bottom of the user card. This button controls whether automations are "On" or "Paused."

  • Enable Automation: If automation is currently turned on, the button will reflect that setting. Automations and automated funnels will be active and running, sending messages and performing scheduled actions according to the rules you set.
  • Pause Automation: To pause automation, click on the automation button while it is in the "On" position. This will reveal two options:
